Ismail Talgat
Ismail Talgat is a talented Kazakhstani young athlete born on April 27, 2012, in Almaty. At just 13 years old, he actively participates in various martial arts, excelling particularly in grappling, freestyle wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is a candidate for the Master of Sports title in these disciplines and has been involved in sports since 2017.
Despite his young age, Ismail has achieved significant milestones in his sports career. He has won gold medals at the World Championships in Jiu-Jitsu and grappling, and also became the Asian champion in these martial arts. Domestically, he holds the title of Kazakhstan champion in these disciplines and is a winner of the Kazakhstan Cup.
Additionally, he has successfully competed at the international level, earning medals at the United Arab Emirates Cup in freestyle wrestling. His versatility and endurance are demonstrated by his ability to win tournaments and place well in both international and local competitions across multiple martial arts.
Ismail's journey in sports began early — he started physical activity at age 5, showing a genuine interest in movement and games. Within a year, his coaches recognized his discipline, perseverance, and attentiveness. Early victories in city competitions confirmed his passion for becoming a professional athlete.
